Do I love the Lord like Daniel did?
That is a question on my mind today. I was all set to write about how people sport jewelry that are Christian in nature when they aren’t. (I asked so that’s how I know).
“Take a stand for the Lord, and leave the outcome in His hands.” Someone wise named Lisa said this and it stuck with me.
I don’t always take a stand and I surely don’t fully leave the outcome in His hands. Many times I take stuff back thinking I can do better.

Was Daniel more patient? I know I am not always. I struggle with that.
Better to be patient than powerful; better to have self control than to conquer a city. Proverbs 16:32 NLT
What does that even mean? I wanted a Proverbs verse but I know nothing about conquering a city.
There is something about running a race. I want to say it’s in Hebrews. I could be wrong.
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. There is no law against these things!Galatians 5:22 NLT
So through the Holy Spirit patience is a fruit. Something that is grown or developed. It takes a little bit and work to get this. It’s not something you grow over night. (Wouldn’t that be nice).

I am thinking Daniel cultivated this. He didn’t have the love or patience over night. He developed it through his relationship with the Father.
Something I will continue if I want to grow. I do want to continue to grow (dance & sing too).
