Today’s First 5 made me think.
Have you perhaps faced and/or resisted temptations in your own life?
Temptations to me are things that entice me or make me want it bad. It’s all I can think about.

Sugar was one of these little boogers. We had to convert a gun safe to a sugar safe. Stuff that James wanted to keep went in there because I had no self control. Oreos went in there. (Among other goodies). They were all I could think about until I got a taste.
Now, I don’t need that safe.
And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one. – Matthew 6:13 NLT
He has rescued me. In the process my MS came out. My MS which is being worked on via His plan. He puts folks in my path. Folks I am so thankful for. Folks I wouldn’t have the pleasure of knowing this way. It just hit me.
I was rescued. Rescued from many things including temptation.
Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. – Psalm 37:7 NLT
He did act. I waited (not patiently). I need to work on my patience as it can be hard to patiently wait. That is another story…
Thank you Lord for rescuing me from this temptation. Although I don’t want my MS to show, I don’t want to tell you how to do your job.
